As Modified in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

a. The Tax Credit is now $8000 or up to 10% of the purchase price of the home (whichever is less)

b. Good for Buyers who have not owned a primary residence in the last 3 years.

c. Only good on the purchase of owner occupied single family homes, condos or townhouses

d. The credit is totally non-repayable after the home is owned for 3 years.

e. Good for homes purchased between January 1, 2009 and December 1, 2009.

f. Must have adjusted gross income of $75000 or less ($150,000 or less for joint returns)
